Word Game

Runs a word chain game in a channel — each word must start with the last letter of the previous one.

The Word Game turns a channel into a non-stop word chain game. When you enable the module and save, Vaneta sends a random starting word to the channel you picked — from there, members keep the chain going by replying with a word that starts with the last letter of the previous word.

Currently the game can be played in English or Turkish — Turkish letter rules (dotted/dotless i, and words never starting with “ğ”) are handled correctly.

Rules

• Every message in the game channel counts as a play, and must be a single word made of letters only.
• The word must start with the last letter of the previous word.
• A word can only be used once per round.
• Nobody can play twice in a row.

Valid words get a ✅ reaction. Invalid plays are deleted, and Vaneta posts a short notice (in the game’s language) explaining what went wrong — the notice cleans itself up after a few seconds.

Restarting the game

Saving the module from the dashboard always starts a fresh game with a new random word, so if a round gets stuck you can restart it with one click.
