Terms of Service

These terms apply to the website(s) vaneta.xyz and all its associated subdomains — including the dashboard and documentation — and our Discord application Vaneta. Uses of “we”, “us”, and “our” in this document refer to this online service.

Our Services

Our services consist of:

• The Vaneta Discord bot — its modules (moderation, tickets, levels, member stats, and others) and its commands.
• The web dashboard — where servers configure the bot’s modules, view statistics, and browse audit history.
• This website — including the documentation and contact forms.

User Conduct

By using our services you agree to:

• Act only in a manner consistent with these terms.
• Not use our services for unlawful, harassing, defamatory, obscene, or otherwise harmful purposes.
• Not use the bot’s configurable messages (such as welcome messages, auto messages, embeds, or forms) to distribute content that breaks these terms or the terms of Discord.
• Not attempt to abuse, exploit, or artificially manipulate our services — including spamming commands, farming XP or statistics through automation, or circumventing punishments applied by server moderators.
• Not damage, disable, overburden, or otherwise intentionally impair service functionality.

If you do not agree to these terms, you agree not to use our services in any way.

Server Configuration

Vaneta is configured per server by that server’s managers through the dashboard. Server managers are responsible for the configuration they create — including the content of any messages the bot sends on their behalf and the fairness of any punishments they apply. We are not responsible for how individual servers configure or use the bot.

Age Requirements

By using our services, you confirm that you are at least 13 years old and meet the minimum age for digital consent applicable in your country. If you are old enough in your country to access our services but not old enough to agree to our terms, your parent or legal guardian must agree to the terms on your behalf. Ask your parent or legal guardian to read these terms with you. If you are a parent or legal guardian and you allow your teen to use our services, these terms also apply to you and you are responsible for your teen’s usage of our services.

Disclaimers

Vaneta is under active development. As part of this effort, we may add or remove modules and commands, offer new services, or discontinue old ones. Although we try to avoid interruptions, we cannot guarantee that there will not be outages or disruptive changes to our services, and your content — such as module configurations, levels, or statistics — may not be available due to such outages or disruptive changes. We will not be liable for any such outages or changes to our services.

The core bot is free to use. If optional premium features are offered in the future, they will come with their own additional terms.

Intellectual Property

Content provided by our services (including but not limited to graphics, logos, designs, and software code) is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You agree not to edit, distribute, develop, publish, sell as your property, or otherwise reuse it without the express written permission of an authorised person who owns the proprietary rights. Our services may also contain third-party content that is subject to its own intellectual property rights. Any media uploaded or configured by users (such as custom card backgrounds) is done so with the user’s consent, and we are not responsible for users uploading copyrighted or trademarked content at any given time or instance.

Process of Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to some or all of our services with or without notice, at our discretion for the following reasons:

• You breach our terms or the terms of Discord.
• We reasonably believe termination is necessary to prevent harm to you, us, or other users.
• Giving you access to some or all of our services creates risk for us or other users.

Any violation of these terms will be dealt with on an individual basis.

In the event of termination, all stored data associated with your account and owned servers will be permanently deleted. We will not be liable for any loss or damage that may occur as a result of your termination.

Updates and Changes

We have the discretion to change these terms to reflect updates to our processes, current acceptable practices, or legal or regulatory changes. If we decide to change these terms, we will post the changes here at the same link you are currently using to read these terms. We reserve the right to update our terms at any time without notice.

It is important to note that we have no control over the terms of any external services that may be linked on our website. We are not affiliated with any of the services linked on our website.
